More tools brewing
Early ideas for research scripts, small automations, and AI-assisted workflows. Read what I am considering next and which everyday problems might be worth turning into a tool.
Some projects are still more like recurring thoughts than finished products. I didn’t want to fake certainty around them, but I also didn’t want them to disappear.
The Concept: A Holding Pen for Ideas
Not every project deserves a polished reveal right away. But early projects often disappear precisely because they aren’t finished enough to justify a full page yet. You build a script, wire together an API, solve a temporary problem, and then abandon the code in a private repository because it doesn’t have a UI.
This page is my compromise: an honest placeholder for the experiments that are still half-note, half-tool.
What’s Brewing
Currently, this space serves as a holding pen for:
- Lightweight Prototypes: Small utilities that parse financial filings or automate niche data transformations.
- AI Workflows: Local scripts testing the boundaries of what LLMs can parse from unstructured regulatory texts.
- Research Scripts: Python and Node.js snippets used to aggregate data before they evolve into full-fledged web apps.
The Strategy
The goal isn’t to leave these ideas here forever. The roadmap is simply to let them breathe.
- Gestation: Keep unfinished work visible without pretending it’s a finished product.
- Evolution: Add short update notes as the prototypes gain utility.
- Graduation: Break out individual projects onto their own dedicated pages once they become distinct, stable tools that solve a repeatable problem.
Until then, they live here.
