The Systems Workbench

I build tools to answer problems I run into in my work and life. As a solutions engineer, my skill is describing exactly what should exist and shaping it with modern AI tools. Below are eight working projects spanning SEC regulatory due diligence, alternative investments, cricket field planning, and cultural decision models.

fintech & sec Live System

Regulatory Lens ↗

A search and diligence layer across 56,000+ SEC-registered investment advisers, parsed from raw government filings.

Key Benchmark / Scope
56,000+ Advisers Indexed
Why I built this

In institutional due diligence, answering simple questions about an investment adviser—like their real fee schedule or how much of their AUM is actually discretionary—means digging through dense, fragmented SEC EDGAR PDFs. I built this to turn messy government bulk data into instant, structured answers.

How it works
Raw SEC Bulk Data → SQLite Relational Store → FastMCP Server → Searchable Diligence UI
Stack & Tools
  • Astro
  • Python
  • SQLite
  • FastMCP
  • Fine-tuned LLMs
knowledge & systems Live System

Worldview ↗

An exploratory atlas of everyday human choices across psychology, culture, ethics, and behavioral science.

Key Benchmark / Scope
Interactive Decision Atlas
Why I built this

When I moved to UWC Changshu in China at sixteen, living with classmates from over 100 countries showed me how much culture and incentives shape decision-making. Worldview organizes the cognitive models, ethics frameworks, and behavioral evidence I’ve gathered since then into an interactive decision map.

How it works
Topic Ontology → Connected Knowledge Graph → Interactive SVG Atlas → Deep-Dive Briefs
Stack & Tools
  • TypeScript
  • Interactive Atlas
  • SVG Visualizations
  • MDX

Captains View ↗

An interactive 2D cricket field planner that enforces league fielding restrictions in real time.

Key Benchmark / Scope
Real-Time Powerplay Engine
Why I built this

When you are bowling the final over in a Florida league match with 5 or 7 runs to defend, the pressure is intense. Captains frequently forget circle restriction rules or leave glaring boundary gaps. I built this 2D planner to let captains test fielding setups and catch rule violations before stepping onto the pitch.

How it works
2D Field Coordinate Engine → Real-Time Circle Rule Validator → Drag-and-Drop Pitch Canvas

  • TypeScript
  • SVG Geometry

CAIA Knowledge Hub ↗

A study hub and visual sandbox deconstructing private equity, private debt, real assets, and portfolio covariance.

Key Benchmark / Scope
Alternative Investments Hub
Why I built this

Alternative investments curricula often hide intuitive financial concepts behind dry mathematical formulas. I built this public knowledge hub while preparing for CAIA exams to make portfolio math—like covariance matrices, hurdle rates, and liquidity premiums—visually interactive.

How it works
Curriculum Syllabus → KaTeX Formula Formatter → Interactive Frontier Sandbox → Topic Briefs
Stack & Tools
  • Astro
  • TypeScript
  • KaTeX
  • Portfolio Math

Fielding Style Playbook ↗

A tactical handbook showing how cricket fielding setups evolve across powerplays, middle overs, and the death.

Key Benchmark / Scope
Match-Phase Templates
Why I built this

Most cricket fielding manuals are static diagrams that don’t show how field placements adapt to match situations, bowler styles, or batter handedness. This playbook walks through strategic field adjustments phase by phase.

How it works
Match Phase Transitions → Preset Formations → Dynamic Coverage Heuristics
Stack & Tools
  • Astro
  • JavaScript
  • SVG Graphics

ADV Screener ↗

A side-by-side comparison tool for institutional investors evaluating RIA fee schedules and client asset tiers.

Key Benchmark / Scope
Cross-Filer Disclosure Diff
Why I built this

Comparing RIA fee tiers, client minimums, and AUM trends across multiple firms normally requires opening dozens of SEC filing tabs. ADV Screener is designed to put those disclosures side-by-side for rapid manager diligence.

How it works
SEC EDGAR Ingestion → Relational Normalization → Side-by-Side Diffing View
Stack & Tools
  • Astro
  • TypeScript
  • MDX
  • SEC API
fintech & sec Active R&D

Manager Search ↗

A diligence snapshot connecting institutional manager names to their legal entities, SEC filings, and 13F portfolios.

Key Benchmark / Scope
Entity Resolution + 13F
Why I built this

Major asset managers operate through dozens of subsidiary entities with slightly different legal names, making ticker searches confusing. This tool resolves manager names to their parent entities and compiles a single diligence briefing.

How it works
Entity Resolution Crosswalk → SEC CIK Resolution → 13F Portfolio Ingestion
Stack & Tools
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • SEC API
  • OpenAI
  • Form 13F

World Cup 2026 Corner ↗

A clean, ad-free tournament schedule, timezone converter, and venue guide for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Key Benchmark / Scope
Tournament Match Tracker
Why I built this

Commercial sports websites are crowded with autoplay videos, popup ads, and betting promotions that get in the way of checking match times. I built a minimal, fast schedule tracker for following the 2026 World Cup across North America.

How it works
Match Fixture Engine → Timezone Auto-Resolver → Static Scoreboards
Stack & Tools
  • Astro
  • TypeScript
  • Responsive Tables
Interactive Micro-Tool 01 · Institutional Due Diligence

SEC Form ADV & 13F Intelligence Sandbox

Read "The Universe of Form ADV" Essay →

In institutional diligence at Dasseti, understanding an investment adviser begins with Form ADV Part 1A. This sandbox lets you examine entity structure, regulatory AUM, and fee models across 8 major firms, with a side-by-side diff to compare traditional asset managers against private equity allocators.

Why this matters in institutional diligence: In my work at Dasseti, SkyBridge, and BlackRock, I learned that pitch decks highlight what managers want you to see, but SEC Form ADV Part 1A discloses what is legally true. This interactive sandbox compares 8 registered advisers across regulatory AUM, discretionary mandate splits, client concentrations, and fee structures. Check "Enable Side-by-Side Diligence Diff" below to contrast an index giant like BlackRock against a private equity leader like Blackstone.

Interactive Micro-Tool 02 · Alternative Asset Allocation

CAIA Portfolio Frontier & Covariance Engine

Open CAIA Knowledge Hub →

Developed during my CAIA charter studies and alternative investment research at SkyBridge. Adjust the allocation weights across equities, private debt, and real assets to see how non-correlated returns bend the Markowitz efficient frontier upward, expanding return for given levels of volatility.

Why this matters in asset allocation: While studying for the CAIA charter and analyzing multi-manager portfolios at SkyBridge, I wanted an interactive way to explore Markowitz mean-variance optimization. When you introduce non-correlated alternative assets (private equity, real assets) into a traditional stock-heavy mix, the efficient frontier shifts upward—improving risk-adjusted return (Sharpe ratio). Try selecting the "Endowment Model" preset or adjusting the weights below to see how covariance math reshapes the frontier curve.

CAIA Takeaway: Adding uncorrelated alternatives (private credit + real assets) expands the efficient envelope upward and leftward—capturing higher yield while compressing volatility.
